Biography[]

Chase is a fitness instructor who owns a gym and has a passion for working out. Even when his gym was closed during the height of the pandemic, he adapted by offering Zoom classes and maintaining a strict workout regimen. Despite his outward success, Chase is shown to be self-centered, focusing mainly on his appearance and his expectations for others, particularly Jessica.

Chase has been dating Jessica for two years, and during their anniversary dinner, he planned to propose to her. However, his proposal is conditional upon Jessica losing weight. He buys her clothes that are a size too small, making Jessica feel insecure about her body. When he admits that he only wanted her to lose weight before proposing, Jessica realizes how selfish he is and ends the relationship. This marks a pivotal moment in the story, as Jessica decides to move on and pursue a relationship with Jay.
