Dean was born three minutes after his sister, Lesslie.
He found his sister dead after she committed suicide.

He has messy brown hair and blue eyes. Holder cut his hair after Sky made a comment on his hair; thinking it looked a bit like a Justin Bieber haircut. He has a tattoo on his arm dedicated to his future girlfriend, Sky (given name's Hope), and his twin sister, Lesslie (nicknamed Les).
